COVID Testing Brings Parking Impacts
Expect parking congestion near testing kiosks
With campus COVID-19 testing requirements this fall, Transportation Services expects dramatic parking impacts in Lot 25, Lot 35, and the Pavilion Parking Structure which will serve as overflow for the nearly 700 people per hour expected to visit the ARC testing kiosk.
While there are designated complimentary 30-minute parking stalls in Lot 25 for people receiving COVID-19 services, we urge you to consider walking or riding your bicycle to your appointment. Unless you have mobility issues, please avoid driving to or parking in these lots and help us avoid unnecessary parking congestion.
Alternative options to avoid parking congestion near COVID testing kiosk
- Get tested early in the day
- Walk or ride your bicycle to the ARC
- Park further away (and walk)
