Donate qualified items instead of paying a parking citation

Donations for Citations

DFC

Transportation Services, in partnership with the ASUCD Pantry, is hosting a "Donations for Citations" food drive from Tuesday, November 12 through Friday, November 22. This drive provides an opportunity for the campus community to donate qualified food and essentials to The Pantry instead of paying a parking citation (or invoice fee).

The ASUCD Pantry is a student-run, student-led organization that provides nutritious food and other necessities, such as toiletries, soap, toothbrushes, and more to UC Davis students and employees.

If you don't have an outstanding citation but still want to contribute, consider donating to the Mail Services Annual Food Drive, running from November 1 to 22.

How it Works

  • Individuals can donate instead of paying for one citation (or invoice) per vehicle received on or before November 5, 2024
  • Purchase items using the donation guide below. Item numbers will vary depending on the citation type.
  • Bring your items to Transportation Services and have your citation number on hand during the hours noted below.
  • Once items are collected, Transportation Services staff will dismiss your citation as a warning.

If you are not in a position to donate items, you may also volunteer your time instead of paying a parking citation. Shifts are roughly two hours, including volunteer training and a shift. Once you complete your shift, The Pantry will coordinate with Transportation Services to dismiss your citation as a warning.
